Redmoor Health has been selected as a finalist in this year’s Innovate Awards, in the category ‘Net Zero Innovation of the Year’ for their project “The move to Net Zero” in conjunction with NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria ICS.
The programme, designed to enable general practice to deliver greener healthcare, uses a combination of modular-style webtools and digital services to inform and support primary care providers to understand their impact on
emissions, discover ways of integrating decarbonisation, identify solutions and create a roadmap to Net Zero.
By adapting the methodology of the already successful Digital Journey Planner, the ICS has been able to use an approach with already proven success and high rates of engagement across their ICS.
The Innovate Awards, delivered in partnership between the AHSN Network and NHS Confederation, stated that ‘the entries this year were of a very high standard with more than 190 entries competing across eleven categories’. ‘Judges evaluating the submissions commented on the impressive and inspirational work taking place and named “The Move to Net Zero in Lancashire and South Cumbria ICS with Redmoor Health” as one of the best in its’ category.
The winner and highly commended in each award category will be announced at a ceremony in London on 21 September 2023, along with the ‘Innovation Champion of the Year’ selected from all winning entries.
