Managing Director

Marc Schmid is an experienced senior manager in both the NHS and local government as a former Head of Communications and Marketing and Head of Corporate Services. He has been responsible for the deployment of digital first programmes across local government and the NHS as well as a range of other exciting digital programmes including remote consultations in primary care and social care, development of clinical networks using social media to engage with patients, digitisation of Lloyd George notes and the rollout of a national programme of digital training for nurses. Marc was also one of the creators of Redmoor Communications CIC and provides digital training and support for not for profit organisations and support to get long term unemployed young people into work.

Richard Stoddart

Business Director

Richard is a skilled and experienced project manager and manages our project management teams. We provide project management support for a range of technology programmes across the NHS including the GPFV online consultation programme, deployment of video consultations, Docman, digitisation of Lloyd George papers and the deployment of GP retention programmes.

Anna Buckle

Anna manages our marketing and engagement programmes organising training workshops and practice events. She has also been working with nurses across the country supporting them to understand how using technology can support them to manage their health. Anna is also skilled at creating video patient and clinician stories to bring to life the amazing work being done with technology across the NHS.

Cameron Booth

Digital Advisor

Cameron is also part of our engagement team and helps deliver digital training and support to GPs, nurses and practice admin teams. Cameron also manages our video consultation programmes where we have seen the successful use of video connecting GPs to care homes and other clinical teams such as dementia teams to care homes and hospices. Cameron is also supporting GP retention programmes where we are using remote consultations to increase capacity in primary care.

Wendy Hughes

Senior Account Manager

Wendy has over 25 years as a Retail & B2B Manager before a career change into healthcare. With a CIPD qualification specialising in HR/Training & development, Wendy is passionate about communication and has a good rapport which builds strong relationships. She engages the people by simplifying new initiatives to support the business change within organisations. Wendy has 5 years’ experience with Emis Health where she has gained a vast knowledge of primary care. Understanding that Digital solutions are necessary to streamline the working processes in GP practices she became the expert in National services in Electronic prescribing, electronic records, summary care records and Patient Facing services. Recently working for Iplato Healthcare as a senior account manager she has further expanded her knowledge of the digital transformation happening in the NHS. Gaining a qualification as an Agile practitioner in project management she has been instrumental in the deployment of online services and remote consultations in GP practices across Lancashire and Cumbria and Greater Manchester.

Lisa Drake

Consultant

Lisa is an experienced manager with over 15 years knowledge in the NHS; in Acute hospital, Community settings, Commissioning for whole populations and latterly managing in General Practice. She has developed a broad understanding of the whole health system which is where Primary Care needs to sit - at the heart of healthcare. Helping practices to work at scale and in networks should enable staff to work to their strengths, rather than duplicate effort in separate businesses. Lisa uses the opportunity for Digital solutions to help to deliver this system change. She can help by using collaborative tools, offering advice of different types of services and using new communication methods.

Fiona McDonald

Training Consultant

Fiona McDonald is a Nurse by background with previous experience as a health visitor, paediatric ward sister and primary care trust manager and clinical leadership across primary care before being drawn into clinical informatics in 2009. Fiona was the Electronic Prescription Service and digitising medicines domain senior clinical lead at NHS Digital for 7 years and has also worked on the GP/Patient Online programme as a Digital clinical Lead for NHS England and led the national standards for GP practice websites, online prescription ordering and electronic repeat dispensing. Fiona also worked as the Director of patient preferences and engagement for Great North Care Record, leading on the preferences, opt-in to clinical research trials and online access. Fiona is the Vice Chair of the advisory board for the national CCIO network. Fiona has published articles in many clinical journals on EPS and has also written the national Electronic Repeat Dispensing guidance and toolkit available on the NHS England website. Fiona is passionate about anything digital to support patients and clinicians to realise time in healthcare settings and increase health literacy to support self-management of long-term conditions.

Lisa has over 23 years of experience working within the NHS, the majority within Primary Care. She has a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and pressures that GP Practices face on a daily basis. Her previous roles include 14 years at EMIS Health as Regional Manager and PCS/EMIS Web Trainer, and more recently has been involved with the successful promotion of new solutions into the Primary Care Market Lisa believes passionately in promoting the use of digital solutions to aid the efficiency of working within healthcare, to save time and money for General Practice and the wider NHS too.

Paula is an experienced, future focused and connected networker with more than 25 years experience across the public sector. She has extensive experience of leading collaborative programmes across the health and care system and has strong strategic relationship building skills to deliver positive outcomes. Paula is a keen advocate for translating research into practice for health professionals, and enjoys working in multi-functional teams, across organisational boundaries. She is an influential motivator, and adopts a think/do approach to projects. Paula is interested in 5th Wave theories to lead the movement of innovation and future vision for public health, and is a digital health champion for all.
