For GP practices, social media is more than just a communication tool – it’s a way to build meaningful connections with patients, share vital health information, and support public health initiatives. That’s why we developed our Social Media Managed Service (SMMS) – to make it easier for practices to engage their communities, amplify key health messages, and reduce the burden of managing social media independently.
Today, the SMMS manages over 700 GP practices’ social media pages, giving each one a robust online presence and a direct line to their patients. Through our service, practices have been able to achieve incredible results, like those seen with Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB), where our social media management contributed to a 7.7% rise in NHS App registrations and a 25% increase in monthly appointment bookings through a focussed campaign.
We’re excited to unveil our new 3-tier structure, designed to streamline social media management even further. This new approach offers the best of both worlds – nationally aligned campaigns that create consistent messaging, and flexible options to spotlight each practice’s unique priorities.
1. Scheduled National Campaigns: Consistent, Trusted Health Messaging
Our first tier brings consistency to each practice’s social media feed. Every week, we share 3–4 posts aligned with NHS awareness campaigns and key health topics, like flu vaccinations and mental health support. This means practices can rely on regular, impactful content that resonates with patients, while we handle the planning and posting. It’s a seamless way to keep patients informed on essential health topics without added effort from the practices.

Our new 3-tier structure makes social media management easier, more efficient, and more impactful. We’re excited to see how this approach continues to support practices in building strong, lasting relationships with their patients.
2. Bespoke Campaigns: Tailored Content to Highlight Practice Priorities
In addition to scheduled campaigns, our second tier focuses on customisation. We recognise that every practice has its own focus areas, so we offer bespoke campaigns to meet those needs. Whether promoting digital services, highlighting ARRS roles, or spotlighting other initiatives, by completing a bespoke comms plan form we can create content that aligns with the specific services the practice offers. This tier allows practices to stay relevant to their patient base with content that feels more personal and targeted.

GET IN TOUCH3. Custom Posts: Flexible, Real-Time Updates for Local Connection
The third tier offers the flexibility to communicate specific, timely information. For updates like changes in opening hours, new team introductions, or local health events, practices can send us the details, and we’ll create posts that reflect their local focus. These quick, responsive posts allow practices to engage with their communities in real time, helping them stay connected and relevant to their patients.
