Redmoor Health has delivered an exciting project managing the digitising of Lloyd George notes.
The programme has involved auditing and recording the existing processes for Lloyd George note storage across all practices in Lancashire and South Cumbria. As well as recording the storage, the team has evaluated the available technology solutions on the market as well as identifying the benefits to the ICS once the records are made digital. The team has now supported the development of a business case allowing the ICS to procure an appropriate IT solution.
Programme director Richard Stoddart said the benefits were huge:
“we have already identified significant benefits to the ICS should the records be digitised. This ranges from a large amount of new clinical space being freed up to valuable space to turn into video consultation hubs and areas where primary care networks can collaborate.”
