This workshop is designed to help GP Federation leaders and digital transformation teams develop a robust digital strategy that aligns with national guidelines and addresses local challenges.

With insights from experts at Redmoor Health, participants will engage in interactive sessions to create actionable plans for enhancing digital literacy, streamlining workflows, and improving patient care through technology.

National Overview and Local Reality Check

  • National Guidance Overview: Brief focus on key digital points from the GP Contract 2024-25 and the Fuller Stocktake Report plus the overarching context of where the digital agenda needs to support the current and future challenges of the NHS, including some of the challenges which are currently holding digital advancements back.
  • Localised Reality Check: Overview of the current state of day-to-day provider services focusing on MGPA, digital front door, continuity, frontline challenges, workforce issues, population health, digital literacy of staff and patients, the push for out of hospital, Integrated Neighbourhoods, One Digital Estate programme, connected health, sustainability and sticking plaster situations.

Tactical Implementation Insights Along the Patient Journey (2-3 system specialists)

  • Barriers and Considerations: Identifying potential barriers to implementation (e.g., digital literacy, funding, technological infrastructure) and discussing mitigation strategies.
  • Resource Allocation: Determining the necessary resources (financial, technological, human) and planning for their allocation.
  • Clinical Safety/DTAC/DCB: Safety and governance considerations for digital healthcare

Show me the Data – General Practice Digital Data Insights

  • Visual Exercise Facilitated session on the data can you get and key considerations on what it is telling you (or not)to focussing your digital strategy
  • Action Planning Identifying key strategic initiatives and prioritising them based on impact and feasibility

We will be sending you back with your organisation’s GP Digital Maturity Index results and analysis to help you in your next discussions/planning.
