Founder/Director

Marc Schmid is an experienced senior manager in both the NHS and local government. He has been responsible for the implementation of digital first programmes across local government and the NHS as well as a range of other exciting digital programmes including remote consultations in primary care and social care, implementation of digital programmes for PCNs, digitisation of Lloyd George records and the rollout of a national programme of video group clinics. Marc’s role is to develop Redmoor Health into a key strategic partner for the NHS and other public sector organisations.

Alison has extensive senior management experience in the public sector, having worked in Local Government for over 20 years. An in-depth knowledge of the workings of local and central government, Alison has been responsible for policy, research, partnerships and business management. At Redmoor Health she is responsible for workforce, governance and business strategy.
Matt Murphy

Matt Murphy

CEO

Matt has been leading technology-driven businesses for over 15 years, with a proven track record of impressive growth, scaling up and strategy execution. 10 of those years have been in healthcare, most notably with EMIS Group where Matt held a number of executive board level positions. Matt started the EMIS IQ primary care data analytics division in 2011, and as MD of EMIS Health from 2014 to 2017 oversaw the latter stages of the migration to EMIS Web and the successful expansion into community, child health and mental health.

Matt is a passionate and people-focused leader, driven by building teams and empowering employees in a positive working environment – a commitment evidenced by a Founding Trustee role at the mental health charity Safe In Our World.

Before joining Redmoor, Matt was CEO of a technology business in the global video games market which grew from £500k to £8.2m, built a market-leading reputation in the industry and was sold to Azerion Group in the Netherlands in 2021. Matt’s role at Redmoor is to lead the development and execution of the next phase of the growth strategy, with partnerships and people at the heart.

Dan Hodges

Dan Hodges is a commercial financial director with wide experience in both the US and the UK with listed businesses and start-up SMEs. Dan has also worked in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail and distribution. Dan trained at KPMG in Manchester, working with major clients such as Alliance Boots and TBWD and spent three and a half years at PZ Cussons, working on the integration of the Beauty Division. Dan also set up commercial teams for Newell Rubbermaid, Bodycote and NCC Group PLC. He was previously Managing Director/ Finance Director for part of the fast-growing and acquisitive Tactus Group in the North. Most recently, Dan has successfully stepped up to become divisional MD of 70-person site business in Bradford with additional FD responsibility for three separate divisional businesses.

Kieran is an experienced leader with a varied experience in the NHS and private organisations, having worked with Primary, Secondary, Community and Pharmacy sectors he has a deep understanding of the healthcare market. He has spent growing start-up businesses ready for investment through to large multinational businesses aiming to diversify existing markets. He has worked at the frontline of digital services and development of new technologies and subsequent release and adoption. He is a keen traveller and loves nothing more than exploring a new country.

Kieran’s role at Redmoor is to support the growth and direction of the business in line with the company’s strategy as well as identification and planning of commercial opportunities.

Fiona McDonald

Chief Clinical Information Officer

Fiona McDonald is a Nurse by background with previous experience as a health visitor, paediatric ward sister and primary care trust manager and clinical leadership across primary care before being drawn into clinical informatics in 2009. Fiona was the Electronic Prescription Service and digitising medicines domain senior clinical lead at NHS Digital for 7 years and has also worked on the GP/Patient Online programme as a Digital clinical Lead for NHS England and led the national standards for GP practice websites, online prescription ordering and electronic repeat dispensing. Fiona also worked as the Director of patient preferences and engagement for Great North Care Record, leading on the preferences, opt-in to clinical research trials and online access. Fiona is the Vice Chair of the advisory board for the national CCIO network. Fiona has published articles in many clinical journals on EPS and has also written the national Electronic Repeat Dispensing guidance and toolkit available on the NHS England website. Fiona is passionate about anything digital to support patients and clinicians to realise time in healthcare settings and increase health literacy to support self-management of long-term conditions.

Richard Stoddart

Programme and Performance Director

Richard is an experienced manager with a background in the public sector. Working in Local Government, DWP and the NHS has enabled him to develop a bespoke programme management approach for Redmoor. This approach has been embedded in numerous programmes across the NHS, including online consultation programmes, deployment of video consultations, digitisation of Lloyd George papers and workforce retention programmes. Richard is also a keen support of Blackburn Rovers FC.
Helen Holmes-Fogg

Helen Holmes-Fogg

Director of Strategy and Development

Helen has had a varied 22 year executive career in and around the NHS. Qualifying from UCLAN in Health Policy and Management, she worked as a senior operational manager designing and delivering urgent care, clinical triage and call handling services. She has been responsible for the implementation of electronic patient management systems and the first NHS111 face to face site at a vanguard Urgent Care Centre front-ending ED. She was part of the procurement team for the North West’s first NHS111 service alongside North West Ambulance Trust. As Director of Strategy, Helen led the successful procurement of a Yorkshire Urgent Care System, leading to transformational service delivery. Over the past 5 years as the CEO of a GP Federation, she led the early formation of collaborative general practice. This grassroots revolution led the maturity and readiness for the introduction of Primary Care Networks. During this time, Helen’s team proudly developed a nationally recognised enhanced care home service. As part of the local health and care system, Helen chaired an integrated care provider group combining primary, community, allied services, and the voluntary sector, leading the local covid response programme. Helen is naturally driven to connect people and services at a local or system level. She sees digital integration as the enabler of future health and care delivery.
Lisa Drake

Director, Quality, Service and Improvement

Lisa supports commissioners at CCG/ICS & Regional level to help to deliver system change and modernise general practice. With almost 20 years experience in the NHS, as an ex-commissioner and Practice manager, Lisa’s work also involves advising practices and PCNs how to improve patients’ digital experience; how to deliver full range of GP Online services and streamline general practice workload. In addition to her role at Redmoor, Lisa remains in the NHS as a Digital Advisor in a practice in the Lake District.

Lisa is a mature student of the Open University specialising in Social Policy, Health and Care communications and relationships and is a member of the Expert Advisory Group for the Remote by Default Research with Nuffield Primary Care Health Sciences and University of Oxford.

Lisa has over 23 years of experience working within the NHS, the majority within Primary Care. She has a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and pressures that GP Practices face on a daily basis. Her previous roles include 14 years at EMIS Health as Regional Manager and PCS/EMIS Web Trainer, and more recently has been involved with the successful promotion of new solutions into the Primary Care Market Lisa believes passionately in promoting the use of digital solutions to aid the efficiency of working within healthcare, to save time and money for General Practice and the wider NHS too.

Paul Galley

Creative Director

Paul has more than 25 years’ experience in his field. For almost three decades, he has worked with scores of top designers, photographers, illustrators, writers and programmers.

As well as leading the Redmoor Creative team, his role will ensure that their projects are underpinned by Redmoor Health’s wealth of experience and insight into health and social care sector. Taking responsibility for, and ensuring that the creative solution is not only the best fit, but that it hits the deadline on time and within budget.

A keen illustrator and award winning designer, Paul has worked with clients such as Carlsberg UK, Volkswagen, Greene King, Stonegate, Whitbread, Hollywood Bowl and numerous pub companies. Paul not only manages the team and process he is also fully submerged in any given project. This provides a collaborative joined up process ensuring the message is executed right whether through traditional or digital media.

Matt Sweeney

Director of Marketing and Products

Matt has over a decade of experience in the digital health sector. His career includes senior positions in large public companies and fast-growing startups, including Head of Partnerships & Alliances at EMIS Group and Commerical Director roles at Iatro and Private GP Services.

Currently, as part of Redmoor's team, Matt is responsible for leading the product development and marketing of their digital health products. His efforts are focused on aligning these products with Redmoor's vision and the needs of the NHS, drawing on his extensive background in commercial and product strategy.

Chris Horne

Head of Digital

Chris is our Head of Digital – His role is to bring your project to life digitally ensuring the project is delivered to the highest of standards. He leads end-to-end delivery of digital projects, including technology delivery and change management required to improve processes.

Chris has worked for large agencies in the past, working for high profile brands like Thomas Cook, Brother UK and Redrow Homes to name but a few. Chris provides a wealth of agency experience and will be pushing the innovation and digital offering at Redmoor.

Natalie Balmain

Brand Social Media Manager

Natalie is a healthcare communications and PR specialist, having spent most of her career working across various arms of the NHS, including Clinical Research Facilities, CCGs, Trusts and the Academic Health Science Network. Natalie has also worked in the private side of the health sector, working for Medtech companies and private healthcare providers, and as such has a keen strategic insight into the healthcare landscape. On a personal level, she is very active in delivering online advocacy in support of people living with diabetes, and in 2022 she took part in, and won, the first series of ‘Make Me Prime Minister’ on Channel 4.

Amelia Land

Designer

Amelia is a long-time creative practitioner, with an interest in filming, creative writing, drawing and art history. After leaving a role in retail to pursue a creative career, she achieved a first class degree from Manchester Metropolitan University in Illustration and Animation, and is now a Designer at Redmoor Health, working on Social Media Managed Service to create content, national campaigns for charities such as Just Talk and branding for medical practices.

Rowan is Redmoor’s Principal System Developer, playing a critical role in designing and executing scalable, robust software solutions. Starting his career in the dynamic world of game development, Rowan accrued valuable skills in complex coding, debugging, and rigorous testing. This foundation in the gaming industry honed his ability for problem-solving and user-centric design, skills that seamlessly transitioned into his work in the realm of enterprise software.

In the enterprise space, Rowan has leveraged his expertise to create process automation, data management, and system integration solutions for multinational corporations. Now at Redmoor, he is delivering bespoke software systems for our partners. His diverse experience and passion for simplifying complex problems are reflected in Redmoor's mission of delivering transformative, high-quality software solutions.

Cameron Booth

Product Lead - Patient Communications

Cameron has a strong entrepreneurial background and is passionate about creating value for health and social care through developing new tools and models of care that use the very best of digital health technology. For example, Cameron has helped to create the Digital Journey Planner – which is now being deployed across the UK in General Practice, in partnership with NHS England and Improvement.

Cameron likes to work with our partners to help them get the most out of our programmes, and works with the creative team to develop new marketing materials like documents, case studies, and even podcasts.

Accountable for Patient Communications services, including the Social Media Managed Service. Ensuring quality of service, working with the product management team to make sure the product is fit for purpose and remains relevant to market needs. Responsible for the product roadmap and ongoing development. Customer relationship management is another key component of this role, where existing customers are happy and get the most out of our services, alongside developing and nourishing new relationships. Cameron is also responsible for contributing to and executing Redmoor Health’s product strategy which aligns with our mission of supporting primary care and improving healthcare delivery in the NHS.

Anna Buckle

Digital Programme Manager

Anna has been leading on a range of training programmes nationally, including video group clinics and the upskilling of digital nurses. She manages our marketing and engagement programmes organising training workshops and practice events. She has also been working with nurses across the country supporting them to understand how using technology can support them to manage their patients’ health. Anna also project manages our video group clinic programmes, providing support on the technical elements of running video group clinics for practices nationally. Anna is also skilled at creating videos of patient and clinician stories, which bring to life the amazing work being done with technology across the NHS.

Programme Area Manager (North)

Tracey has over 26 years of experience in NHS healthcare IT, previously working with EMIS Health, ranging from service conception, transition, implementation, training and product management.

Tracey has extensive experience in creating training content, delivering on-site and online training, and was part of a team who implemented an integrated healthcare system outside of the UK. Tracey is extremely passionate that users of digital technology optimise the digital solutions they use to their full potential to save time and money for their organisations.

Helen Derbyshire

Product Lead - Digital Transformation Products

Helen is an experienced Business Manager with close to 10 years’ experience in Primary Care as a Managing Partner & Practice Manager. Helen has an in-depth knowledge of digital solutions that support Primary Care.

Helen has a wealth of experience in all aspects of practice management and the challenges faced. Furthermore, Helen has implemented digital solutions to help tackle many of these challenges. Helen was an early adopter of remote care in Nursing Home settings. Helen has experience with practice mergers and working at scale. Helen is passionate about utilising and developing digital solutions to help deliver system change and to help practices work smarter.

Helen also has a strong background in compliance and led her Practice through their CQC inspection achieving an outstanding rating across all 5 domains – placing the Practice in the top 1-2% in the UK. Helen has worked for CQC on Inspection Teams and was invited by CQC to present as a guest speaker at the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Excellence in Primary Care Conference 2018 on the topic of achieving excellence in Primary Care. Helen has an excellent understanding of the Practical application of compliance.

Helen has a first-class honours degree in Human Resource Management and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and has completed the NHS leadership programme.

Dillon Sykes, Digital and Transformation Lead

Dillon Sykes

Product Lead - Digital Transformation Services

Dillon has over 30 year’s experience working with and for the NHS which has given him an excellent understanding of NHS and commercial providers.

During his career he has a proven track record working with NHS organisations providing a sound knowledge and practical implementation of policy, products and services. This includes helping healthcare organisations implement health tech innovations, ranging from small team change to large organisational transformation.

His substantial experience of managing change helped many GP Practices to move from 'legacy' appointment systems to a digital first environment ensuring patients could access technology needed to improve care.

Now in his role as Senior Programme Manager Dillon will work with ICBs, PCNs and Practices to help understand the digital agenda and be a resource to meet the challenges ahead to successfully improve care for staff and patients.

Junaid Sidat

Senior Programme Manager

Junaid has worked in General Practice for over 7 years in various roles from Patient Liaison Officer through to Practice Manager, during this period he has worked with several practices in Lancashire as well as out of hours service. Junaid has a strong understanding of the challenges that primary care faces as well as a Level 7 Diploma In Advanced Management in Primary Care.

Now a Senior Programme Manager for Redmoor Health, Junaid is supporting PCNs and Practices to meet their digital challenges to improve their productivity and patient experience.

A Lancashire Local, Junaid enjoys going away for mini breaks and holidays with his family. He likes reading, playing football, going for long walks and keeping active.

Frazer Jennings

Senior Programme Manager

Frazer has worked with Primary Care practices for over 5 years in various roles such as First & Second Line Support, Customer Success Manager and an Implementation Specialist, ranging from conversations held over the phone, remote meetings and face-to-face visits. From this, Frazer has gained valuable experience in how a GP Surgery operates, and how software can play an integral part in helping a practice become more digitally accessible for their patients and modernising their processes.

Now at Redmoor as a Senior Programme Manager, Frazer will utilise his experiences with working within the digital sector to help PCNs and practices break through their digital challenges by supporting both practice staff, and their patients through the journey.

Gillian has had a wide and varied career in clinical and executive management in both the NHS and private sector.

A Registered General Nurse by background having trained over 36 years ago and following a number of years as Director of Clinical Services in private hospitals, she became the Business Director for 3 GP companies delivering community-based NHS services including an Out of Hours GP service, Community Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Sexual Health and Urology.
She became the Director of Operations responsible for the management of 2 Same Day Health Centres and a minor injury unit in the North West.

Following a successful procurement process and as Director of Quality & Performance, Gillian led the mobilisation and Go Live for a Yorkshire Urgent Care system ensuring the smooth transition of service delivery.

In the past 5 years Gillian has supported a GP Federation as an interim Quality & Compliance Manager, PCN Manager and Interim Business Director.
Most recently she retrained to support her local Covid vaccination team as a vaccinator and subsequently became Interim Business Manager for her local PCN. She is now using her previous experience to assist Redmoor Health with the design and development of the PCN Maturity programme.

Anna started working in General Practice in 1986 as a Receptionist, before becoming a Practice Manager in 1990. Anna left this position in 1996 to work as a clinical software trainer for Genisyst and AMsyS.

Anna would later move to EMIS in 1998 as a trainer before she expended her remit to become a Lead Account Manager looking after a team of trainers.

Anna left EMIS in 2017 and worked at Midlands and Lancs CSU as a Data Quality Specialist working with practices across Cheshire and East Lancs.

Anna Joined Redmoor Health team in 2023 as a Digital Programme Manager and is looking forward to working with practices and PCN’s to support and advise them on their digital journey.

Leoni has 9 years’ NHS experience ranging from operational management, business development, and service implementation. Initially working in the Urgent Care sector, Leoni operationally managed Minor Injury Units, Urgent Care Centres and Out of Hours services across East and Central Lancashire. Leoni then transitioned into the Primary Care arena, supporting the set up of a GP Federation and becoming a Primary Care Network Manager. Leoni was responsible for the contractual compliance of the Primary Care Network DES contract, relationship management to promote GP Practices working at scale and Population Health Management to assess the needs of the local community; creating business cases to secure funding to address health inequalities.

Leoni is employed with Redmoor Health as a Programme Manager and is passionate about using her role to support the healthcare system to be more sustainable through the use of effective digital solutions.

Clare has been the lead administrator in a rural GP Practice for six years until joining the Redmoor team, where she has focused on implementing new digital solutions and techniques. These include Online Consultations, GP Online Services and website administration, where Clare has focused on making patient communications and flows more efficient. Clare has helped practices to develop things such as their appointment books, summary records, and optimise their clinical system, and is now using this knowledge to develop the Digital Journey Planner with Redmoor Health – which is all about supporting practices on their digital journeys. Clare understands the pressures that GPs are under at the moment and advocates the value that digital solutions can provide in easing some of this pressure.

Kirsten Adams

Prior to joining Redmoor Health, Kirsten worked in general practice for 23 years, joining Oxford Street Surgery as a receptionist in 1999. Over the years Kirsten gained experience in coding, summarising, and performance audits. In 2004 she became Clinical Interface Manager, monitoring quality of data between the practice and hospitals, gaining an understanding of data protection, helping develop policies for avoiding unnecessary admissions to hospitals and provision of care plans. In 2015 Kirsten began working with the medicines team ordering prescriptions, initiating changes to medication from hospital discharges, and ensuring that clinical checks and reviews were completed. During the recent merger of Workington practices, Kirsten co-developed a ‘Medicines Hub’ helping initiate standard operating policies and procedures.

As Project Support Officer at Redmoor Health, Kisten helps digital teams deliver services to improve patient access and satisfaction by helping practices be more efficient.

Prior to joining Redmoor Health Lauren worked in General Practice for 8.5 years, her career in the NHS has varied from Receptionist, Administrator, Assistant Medicine Manager and Senior Administrator. Through these roles Lauren has gained an excellent and vast understanding of General Practice and the pressure it faces, as Project Assistant Lauren will help to support practices to relieve these pressures by improving patient access and delivering increased efficient services, through digital solutions.

Stacey has 20 years’ experience of working within the NHS. She has worked in General Practice throughout that time so is well aware of the pressures that are faced.

Stacey’s greatest area of knowledge is in Medicines Management and she has recently helped with the development and implementation of a Medicine Hub across a group of newly-merged practices. This involved bringing together a team of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Practice Prescribing Support teams to improve clinical safety and access for patients.

Stacey is a strong advocate for digital solutions and how they can improve services for both staff and patients.

With a keen eye for quality assurance, Sophie helps to ensure consistent and standard processes are embedded into programme delivery and workflows. Having a strong background in developing learning materials and delivering student education at the highest level, alongside being native to Germany and speaking three languages, the team are able to use this resource to shape new sessions and programme structure.
